Painting light is about considering all the distant colours and shapes within the composition. This work is about moving lots of elements to align within the whole; the sun rises in the most Easterly point of England near Kessingland, where my parents have a static caravan. The sea plants emerge from the stones and sands on the wide beach there. Everything shifts together in the early morning and bounces light and energy around.
